The air transport industry constantly faces complex challenges linked to the expansion of services required to run over existing wide area networks (WANs). SITA’s Integrated Traffic Management (ITM) product improves application performance using Juniper WX and WXC Series WAN optimization technology.

In supporting SITA’s ITM product, Magellan installed and maintained a total of 450 x Juniper WX-20, WX-50, WXC-250, WXC-500 devices worldwide in 54 countries and 108 cities for SITA’s airline customers including; British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Finnair, Hapag Lloyd, Japan Airlines, Martinair, Myanmar, Singapore Airlines, Vietnam Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.

In each of these locations, Magellan provided network maintenance coverage with an 8 hour guaranteed engineer on site service – operated transparently through our 24 x 7 x 365 Helpdesk in Singapore – and using only Juniper JNCIS or JNCIP certified local field service engineers with 3-5 years of experience, who bridge language, political and cultural divides.
